We saw this lavoir in Liverdun (Meurthe-et-Moselle 54) on 26 April 2022. It is relatively modern being built in 1901 on the orders of a local entrepreneur. He wanted the lavandières to have an easier life by having a lavoir in the upper village thus avoiding the long and steep trek down to the banks of the Moselle.
